So on my birthday Kevin calls me outside and says "Amelia has something to show you. You may want to bring the video camera." So I grab the camera and go outside where Amelia rides her bike out from behind one of the cars, without the training wheels!
Kevin was grilling lunch and she has been begging us to take her training wheels off for a while, but we just hadn't had the time to do it. He took them off for her and she rode her bike down the driveway and was really riding it. He helped her a little bit but she just did it all on her own. Afterward she told us that before she got on the bike she prayed that God would help her to try new things and to be persistent. What a sweet girl!
She's so proud of herself for doing something new.
Grant was not nearly as happy for her as she was...he was pouting and mad.
Let's zoom in a little on that pouty face, eh?
Oh Grant, your turn will come soon enough buddy. He gets that way every time Amelia looses a tooth. He wants to do everything his big sister does.
