11 weeks

Lewis is 11 weeks old now and our big event this week was our Campout at the Curriers house. Unfortunately it was the only night in weeks that was going to be under 40 degrees at night so we had to scrap the campout and it became a 'camp-in' instead. We started the evening with a cook out with our One Another Group and then cooked smore's on their firepit.

Lewis was looking cute and staying warm in his duckie snowsuit. I love seeing him in outfits that the other two kids also wore. I'm glad he wears the same size in the same seasons as the two October babies did.
Grant always has so much fun at the Curriers. Even after spending the whole night and morning there he cried when we had to leave the next day. He loves playing with all their toys.

Mmmm. Crispy

All dressed in their jammies, time for bed at 10pm!
The girls slept in Cate's room, the boy's were in Caleb/Cameron's room. Kevin and I were in the guest room and the Williams were out in the loft area.
After the kids were in bed the grownups (or old people as some of the 'youngins' in our group call us) played cards and talked. The next morning the kids were up bright and early at 6:45! Breakfast was soooooo yummy. Kristy had made everything from scratch, pancakes, biscuits, sausage, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon...mmmm. I wish I had some more right now!

After a leisurely breakfast the kids played around the house and got started on the Wii. They were playing a 'sing it' game with Disney songs.
Brent sang to us about the Bare Necessities.
Kevin and I sang a duet, A Whole New World from Alladin. Then we went home and had lunch and then the Gator game started. Amelia crashed on the couch.
Then Grant fell asleep on the other couch. They were pretty tired.
Lewis fell asleep in the swing and the three of them were all snoring while we were watching the game, it was surround sound snoring.

After the game Travis and Brandon (and Sarah too) came over for a playdate and all five cousins got to hang out.
Brandon was being so cute with Lewis. He would reach out and touch him and then pull back and reach out to touch him again and pull back. He was being very gentle too.

The big kids were playing this game they call 'Leaping Trains'. They play it all the time at our house and I'm really not sure how it's played or what the object is but they go around the house like this in a train and then they say 'Leaping trains!' and then they switch positions. I think the goal is to be the engine, because Grant used to get upset if he had to be the "Caboosey MaMoosey", though now they all take turns. These kids are so creative and love to make up silly things together.
